Delta State’s Willie Readus named to NABC All-America Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today the 2014 NABC Coaches’ Division II All-America team and Delta State University senior forward Willie Readus was among the 16 players named to the squad. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America.

Readus led the Statesmen to a 26-7 overall record and the Gulf South Conference regular season title after averaging 19.6 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.  The Morton, Miss., native led the GSC in points and rebounds, while collecting an amazing 19 double-doubles.
